This 6 days Tanzania Lodge safari allows you to experience the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit. We'll experience breathtaking wildlife amid diverse landscapes; monkeys in the forest, lions in the trees, elephants among the acacias, and a huge variety of animals inside a collapsed volcano. We'll also visit the Serengeti National Park, home to some 3 million animals. These spectacular grass plains offer the best opportunity to view cheetahs, leopards, and lions in the true wild.

Day 1: Pick up from the Airport
We will pick you up from the airport, where our driver will warmly welcome you and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Here, you will have the chance to unwind, relax, and prepare for the thrilling adventures ahead.

On your first day, you'll embark on an exciting city tour, taking in the sights of Arusha. The tour includes visits to local markets, the vibrant Maasai market, the Cultural Heritage Centre, and the Arusha City Museum.

In the evening, you will receive a comprehensive briefing about your upcoming tour. You will also have the option to explore Arusha city further and enjoy a stunning sunset view.

Day 2:Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We'll pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM. After meeting your guide, we'll embark on a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscape. This park is particularly famous for its abundance of ancient Baobab trees and its large elephant population—the highest concentration in the entire country. You'll have unique opportunities to observe interactions within elephant families.

Our game drive will take us through the park, following reports of animal sightings. We'll aim to spot elusive predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, while also enjoying the plentiful herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras.

Around midday, we'll stop at the river picnic site for lunch. While you enjoy the stunning view of the river and its surrounding wildlife, be prepared for small monkeys and baboons who might try to snatch your lunch—but don't worry, they are harmless.
After lunch, we'll continue our game drive, eventually exiting the park around 5:30 PM. From there, we'll head to our accommodation for dinner and a restful night.

Day 3: Karatu to Central Serengeti
National Park
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you'll embark on a scenic 4-5 hour drive from Karatu to Serengeti. This journey includes several stops and takes you through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, we'll pause briefly at the gate and viewpoint for about 20 minutes to take in the breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Serengeti National Park
We'll arrive at the Serengeti in the late afternoon and immediately begin a thrilling game drive in Seronera, the central region of the park. As we explore, you'll have the opportunity to witness the park's incredible wildlife up close, potentially even seeing a predator hunting or feeding. We'll continue our game drive into the early evening, allowing you to experience the magnificent Serengeti sunset before heading to our luxury tented camp in Central Serengeti for a restful night.

Full Day Game drive in Serengeti National Park
After a fulfilling breakfast, you'll embark on a journey to Central Serengeti, accompanied by a picnic lunch. The drive takes approximately five hours. Serengeti is renowned for hosting the Big Five, with a notable population of lions and leopards. You'll witness the majestic wildebeest migration on a game drive from North Serengeti, then proceed to Central Serengeti for an evening game drive and overnight stay.
Central Serengeti, particularly the Seronera area, boasts abundant wildlife, thanks to the Seronera River's presence, which attracts a diverse array of species. You'll enjoy en-route game drives until around 5:00 pm, concluding the day with a hearty dinner and a well-deserved rest in your accommodation.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, drive out of the Serengeti and on to Ngorongoro Crater for a game viewing drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa. Sometimes described as an ‘eighth Wonder of the World, the Crater has achieved world renown status, attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year. You are unlikely to escape other vehicles here, but you are guaranteed great wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment. There is nowhere else in Africa like Ngorongoro which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site! It is one of the best places in the country to see the endangered black rhinoceros. The park is home to the entirety of the Big Five and is particularly a good place to see lions and Cape buffalo all year-round. Packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Later on, you'll drive to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Then Mto wa Mbu
You'll start the day early with a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, a remarkable wildlife sanctuary known for its diverse ecosystem and stunning scenery. Spanning 102 square miles and surrounded by towering walls, it's home to an array of East African wildlife, including the elusive black rhino. The crater features varied landscapes like rivers, swamps, and a soda lake with flamingos, making it a truly unique destination. You'll then head to Lake Natron, about four hours away, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way before exploring the lake and its fascinating environment.

Day 7: Lake Manyara the Arusha
On your final day of safari, you'll begin with a leisurely start around 8 am, followed by a quick breakfast before heading to Lake Manyara National Park. Not far from your accommodation, Lake Manyara is renowned for its unique attractions, including tree-climbing lions, large buffalo herds, and vibrant pink flamingoes. This marks the conclusion of your safari adventure, with a 4-hour drive back to Arusha.
You'll arrive in Arusha by 6:00 pm, where you'll be dropped off at your preferred location. As you bid farewell to your team, reflecting on the incredible experiences and memories made, it's time to conclude this unforgettable journey.
