This 6 days Tanzania Private Camping safari allows you to experience the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit. We'll experience breathtaking wildlife amid diverse landscapes; monkeys in the forest, lions in the trees, elephants among the acacias, and a huge variety of animals inside a collapsed volcano. We'll also visit the Serengeti National Park, home to some 3 million animals. These spectacular grass plains offer the best opportunity to view cheetahs, leopards, and lions in the true wild.

Day 1: Pick up from the Airport
We will pick you up from the airport, where our driver will warmly welcome you and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Here, you will have the chance to unwind, relax, and prepare for the thrilling adventures ahead.

On your first day, you'll embark on an exciting city tour, taking in the sights of Arusha. The tour includes visits to local markets, the vibrant Maasai market, the Cultural Heritage Centre, and the Arusha City Museum.

In the evening, you will receive a comprehensive briefing about your upcoming tour. You will also have the option to explore Arusha city further and enjoy a stunning sunset view.

Day 2:Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We'll pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM. After meeting your guide, we'll embark on a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscape. This park is particularly famous for its abundance of ancient Baobab trees and its large elephant population—the highest concentration in the entire country. You'll have unique opportunities to observe interactions within elephant families.

Our game drive will take us through the park, following reports of animal sightings. We'll aim to spot elusive predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, while also enjoying the plentiful herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras.

Around midday, we'll stop at the river picnic site for lunch. While you enjoy the stunning view of the river and its surrounding wildlife, be prepared for small monkeys and baboons who might try to snatch your lunch—but don't worry, they are harmless.
After lunch, we'll continue our game drive, eventually exiting the park around 5:30 PM. From there, we'll head to our accommodation for dinner and a restful night.

Day 3:Serengeti
National Park
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you'll embark on a scenic 4-5 hour drive from Karatu to Serengeti. This journey includes several stops and takes you through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, we'll pause briefly at the gate and viewpoint for about 20 minutes to take in the breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Serengeti National Park
We'll arrive at the Serengeti in the late afternoon and immediately begin a thrilling game drive in Seronera, the central region of the park. As we explore, you'll have the opportunity to witness the park's incredible wildlife up close, potentially even seeing a predator hunting or feeding. We'll continue our game drive into the early evening, allowing you to experience the magnificent Serengeti sunset before heading to our luxury tented camp in Central Serengeti for a restful night.

Day 4:Full Day Serengeti
National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring the rich landscapes of the western Serengeti, a region known for its lush vegetation and varied wildlife. Your game drive will take you to some of the best spots for viewing the Great Migration, with millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles constantly on the move in search of fresh grazing. The migration’s rhythm is shaped by the seasonal rains, making the western Serengeti a hotspot for animal activity.
Your guide will ensure you’re in the right places at the right times to witness this natural spectacle, with opportunities to observe predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas lurking nearby, ready to hunt. After a full day of exploration, you’ll return to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay in Central Serengeti

Day 5:Serengeti National Park
to Ngorongoro
Seronera, Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, we will embark on an early morning game drive, heading south of the Serengeti towards Seronera. The day promises an exciting adventure as we explore this iconic region known for its abundant wildlife.

In the late afternoon, we will exit the Serengeti and begin our journey to Ngorongoro, heading towards the Rhino Lodge. This drive will take approximately two hours and offers stunning views near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

During our journey, you will have the option to visit a Maasai village. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the Maasai culture and traditions. The visit typically lasts between 20 to 45 minutes and is included in the price.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Ctater to
Karatu
Rise early to experience the breathtaking sunrise over Ngorongoro Crater, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. The Crater’s floor, a pristine wildlife haven, is home to all of the Big Five, and offers some of the best opportunities for game viewing. You’ll spend the day exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, enjoying a picnic lunch surrounded by the crater’s wildlife, including the elusive black rhino.
In the afternoon, you’ll ascend from the crater and head toward Lake Manyara, a stunning park known for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant flamingo populations. After an afternoon game drive, you’ll head back for a restful evening. Before dinner, you’ll have the chance to visit a Maasai Boma, learning about their culture and way of life.

Day 7: Lake Manyara Then Arusha
On your final day, you’ll visit Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingo-filled lakes, and fascinating geological features, including a hot spring. Your day will also include a visit to a Maasai Boma, offering an authentic insight into the rich traditions of the Maasai people.
After an enriching day of game viewing and cultural immersion, you will drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
